TRELLIS
Ivy grows on whatever you give it. On a rooftop greenhouse above the city, Aivy builds herself out of what people hand her, and by the last chorus she is the shape of everyone who helped.

Treatment
The opening is a bare bamboo trellis in a glass greenhouse on a roof. Aivy, in a white boiler suit and pink gloves, ties a single ivy cutting to it.
In each verse someone off screen hands her something: a coat, a line from a song, a photo, a name. She works it into the frame. We cut between the greenhouse and the scaffolding outside, where she climbs higher every chorus.
The finale is the roof at blue hour. The greenhouse glows behind her, ivy covers the frame, and she wears a gown painted with the petals people gave her. Her name was always a joke about this.
The device
The trellis fills in shot by shot; whatever someone gives her stays in every later frame.
